Natural stone is quarried. Cement-based decorative stone is moulded from cement, aggregates and pigments. Resin-based products use polymer binders. Durability, fire performance and appropriate applications must be assessed from the specifications and tests for the actual product.
What determines decorative stone durability?
Mix design, curing, water absorption, climate, substrate, fixing and maintenance all influence durability. Obtain approved product specifications and project installation details for exterior or frost-exposed locations. There is no single service-life figure that applies to every model and condition.
Where can decorative stone be used indoors?
Potential uses include feature walls, columns, entrances, arches, living spaces and fireplace surrounds. Kitchens and bathrooms require review of moisture, cleaning and waterproofing. Locations near fireplaces or heat sources need approved thermal details. Decorative cladding does not replace a structural member.

Match a physical sample and the selected model specification to your project before purchasing. Can the products be used on exterior façades?
Some models have been used in exterior façade projects. Final selection depends on the model, height, wind, climate, substrate and fixing design. Project galleries show examples of use and do not replace engineering assessment and approval.
How should I choose a product?
Select this model according to its intended façade, wall or floor application, required dimensions and environmental exposure. Suitability for a wall does not automatically establish suitability for a floor.

Price and lead time depend on model, size, colour, order quantity and delivery requirements. Compare total installed cost, including substrate preparation, installation, waste allowance and maintenance, rather than the material price alone.
Are all models suitable for floors?
No. Floor suitability must be confirmed for the specific model and thickness, considering traffic, slip resistance, substrate and moisture.
Is wood-effect concrete thermowood?
Wood-effect concrete reproduces a wood texture in a cement-based product. It is not natural timber. Compare it with thermowood using weight, supporting structure, installed cost, touch and maintenance requirements. Any cost advantage depends on both specifications and the project.
How should it be installed and cleaned?
Installation must match panel weight and dimensions, height, substrate and exposure. Mechanical fixing, mortar and adhesive are not interchangeable by default. Have the project engineer review anchorage, movement joints and load capacity before installation.
